DOGS
Over thousands of years, we have developed a wonderful relationship with them, haven’t we?
My affinity with dogs saw my beloved ‘Stormi’ come into my life.
Although blind, he was very sociable, so I started taking him to my local dog park at Leura, in the Blue Mountains, Australia.
I also began taking my camera, and from the combination of a blind dog, a camera, and my love of both, this website was born.
MEET STORMI
Stormi was my constant mate, and loving companion.
He was blind, and his poor body had a few knocks, but it never stopped him.
Stormi became blind at nine years old after running frightened into the street during a thunderstorm, and was hit by a car.
His owners didn’t want a blind dog, so he was taken in by a rescue organization, and eventually came to me.
In his later years, his front legs became inactive due to arthritis, so I bought a front-wheel cart and he continued to charge around the oval.
My little mate passed away peacefully just before midnight on the 2nd of February, 2021.
I have named this website and my work in memory of his wonderful spirit.
